On November 1st, the “Silent Key Memorial Contest” is organized from Hungary, giving radio amateurs the opportunity to commemorate colleagues who have passed away. As in previous years, I took part again in 2025 to honor my dear friend Franz, DL9GFB. Franz and I were in contact almost daily for many years, and his passing still weighs heavily on me to this day.
